WHAT SKILLS WILL YOU DEVELOP

-Deep understanding of RHYTHM, TIMING AND MUSICALITY -FOCUS and CONCENTRATION.

-SYNCHRONIZATION of mind and body by reciting the rhythmic syllables and transforming them into dance.

-BALANCE:

Kathak turns and pirouettes require building the feeling of balance in the dancing. As happens in a yoga practice while doing any asana, the feeling of your core, of your center keep you connected with your inner-self, aligned and in harmony state, this dance arouses the feeling of being centered in time and space, bringing balance and harmony to your life.

-Inner ELEGANCE, DELICACY , GRACE and SUBTLENESS in your body moves and facial expressions, bringing magic and beauty to your dance.

- CREATIVITY and IMAGINATION:
As a kathaka ( a storyteller) you learn the art of storytelling through dance.

You will outline the situation connected to the story you are portraying. You will create a mood, a sentiment that you will express through your body movements, hands gestures and facial expressions.
